This Privacy Policy explains how Vortext (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use vortext.com.au. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.

1. Information we collect

  • Prompts & generated content: the text you submit and the content we generate for you, kept temporarily so you can preview and download your purchase.
  • Payment information: processed by our third-party payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment but do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and request times, used for security and to operate the service.

2. How we use information

We use your information to generate and deliver your content, process payments, prevent abuse and fraud, maintain security, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing

To generate content, your prompt is sent to AI model providers that power our writing engine. Those providers process the prompt to produce a response. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information in your prompts.

4. Data retention

Generated pieces and prompts are stored temporarily (typically a few hours) so you can preview and download them, after which they are deleted from our active store. Payment and minimal transaction records may be retained as required for accounting and legal purposes.

5. Third parties

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Vortext — for example, our payment processor and AI model provider — and only to the extent needed to perform their function. These providers have their own privacy policies.

6. Cookies & local storage

We use minimal browser storage to remember your acceptance of our Terms and to operate the app. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

9. Children

Vortext is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
